This alphabet lists 26 key benefits and best practices of using a real estate blog. Not all of these entries will apply to every individual blogging scenario, but they all apply to real estate blogs in general. So you are bound to find something useful here that you’ve never considered before.
Here you have them, real estate blog benefits and best practices … from A to Z.
Authoritative
Everyone knows you have to understand a subject well in order to write about it or explain it to others. When agents blog about the real estate scene in their cities or towns, they position themselves as authorities on the subject. In this.way, a real estate blog can be a useful tool for positioning, branding and differentiation.
Believable
If used properly, a real estate blog can make the agent (or company) behind it more believable. And let’s face it … in the post-Enron, low-trust world of corporate skepticism, a little believability can go a long way. Use your real estate blog to communicate openly and honestly with your audience. Lose the fluff and the jargon. Be candid and sincere. And speaking of being candid…
Candid
It’s a mistake to treat your real estate blog as “Website, Part 2.” Blogs are easy to publish, so you can publish to them more frequently. In this way, a real estate blog can become an ongoing dialogue between you and your audience (potential clients). To get the most out of this dialogue, and to achieve the believability mentioned above, a real estate blog should take on the candid, heartfelt voice of the author.
Direct
Real estate blogs are direct-to-reader / direct-to-consumer. You simply type your message, click the “Publish” button, and your message becomes instantly viewable online. Unlike other forms of business communication, there are no journalists or editors to put their own spin on things. Your message goes from you, directly onto your blog, and directly to your audience.
Enthusiastic
In a perfect world, only the truly enthusiastic bloggers would publish real estate blogs. But this is not the case, and as a result there’s a lot of “half-hearted” blogs online today. Half-hearted commentary stands out like a purple elephant in the blogosphere. This kind of blogging actually does more harm than good. On the other hand, enthusiasm comes across in blog posts — but enthusiasm is both positive and contagious.
Flexible
The number of ways you can use your real estate blog is limited only by your imagination and energy. Maybe your blog will be a source for local real estate news. You can do that. Or maybe your blog will cater to a certain niche, such as condo buyers or home sellers. You can do that too. With the versatile publishing capabilities of most blogging programs, you can set up your blog to support any business, marketing or communication objective.
Google-friendly
A real estate blog can help you increase your online visibility in several ways. For one thing, a blog can help you expand your website with new content, easily and efficiently. Blog daily for a year, and you’ll have 365 new pages of content. And search engines love topical content. A real estate blog is also more “social” than a regular website, so with time and effort your blog can acquire links from other blogs. This “link popularity,” as it’s known, can do wonders for search engine ranking.
Happening
Generally speaking, real estate blogs are much more “happening” than their website counterparts. Blogs are easier to update than regular websites, which is important in the ever-changing world of real estate, interest rates, etc. When you update your blog often with quality content, it becomes an active resource that people are more inclined to read, revisit and recommend.
Informative
When you keep people in your area informed about the local real estate scene, you increase the usefulness of your real estate blog. You also increase the likelihood of future business from those readers, not to mention the likelihood they will recommend your blog to others. Blogging is a simple but effective way to keep people informed. Before you publish a new post, get in the habit of asking yourself, “How will this blog post help my readers?” If you can answer that, publish a way. If you can’t answer it, rethink the topic.
Jargon-free
In general, blogs are not the place for corporate speak or “fluff” content. This applies to the real estate blog as well. Write your blog in your own voice. Don’t try to impress people with your vocabulary. The best blogs convey quality information in a conversational style. This will increase your readership, the level of dialogue, and (ultimately) the blog’s profitability as a client-acquisition tool.
Knowledgeable
Dr. John Tuccillo, former Chief Economist for the NAR, recently said: “With the expansion of the number of Realtors, the level of competence has fallen to its lowest point ever.” If this general perception spreads to the public in general, it could cause real problems for real estate professionals. This is another area where a real estate blog can benefit you. Use your blog to show readers how knowledgeable you are on your subject. Just remember, some of your readers will know as much about the subject as you do. So check your facts before posting!
Lead-producing
You stand to gain a lot from the interaction and trust mentioned previously in this list. When you interact with your blog readers in a positive way, you have a much greater chance of turning them into clients. You can also configure your blog to allow reader comments, which is another way to generate leads and start a dialogue.
Manageable
Blogging programs simplify the web-publishing process to such a degree that anyone can do it, regardless of their web experience. In fact, a single individual could easily manage a large web presence if it were built on blogging technology. This is ideal for real estate agents who operate independently, without the benefit of an I.T. department.
Non-invasive
A well-written real estate blog will “pull” readers into the message, as opposed to pushing the message on the reader (like magazine ads). People can sign up for your blog in total privacy, either by using the blog’s RSS feed or an email subscription option (if you provide one). The readers come to the blog — it is not thrust upon them. As long as blogs in general adhere to this non-invasive, respectful approach, they will be held in higher esteem than other communication channels like email.
Operational
A real estate blog is more than a simple communication tool. It can serve operational roles as well. This could include internal collaboration (like an intranet) or outward instruction (like a home buying seminar online).
Purposeful
Before you publish your first blog post, you should determine the purpose of your real estate blog. Sure, you can always dive right in and figure out your purpose as you go. But your blog will be more effective (and easier to produce) if you have a purpose and plan ahead of time. Ask yourself, “What do I want to accomplish with my blog? Who is my ideal audience? What information would they find useful?”
Qualitative and Quantitative
When real estate blogging is done well, it has both a quantitative and qualitative affect. The quantity of content will increase your website’s usefulness and search engine visibility. The quality of content helps you position yourself as an expert and differentiate yourself from other agents in your area (see entry for “Knowledgeable” above).
Recyclable
Blog content can be reused for many purposes. For example, you could expand your blog posts into article-length and publish them online for additional exposure and web traffic.
Straight-shooting
This point is somewhat repetitive of ‘C’ for candid. Guilty as charged. But it’s worth repeating, so I’m repeating it. The most popular real estate blogs got to where they are partly by being straightforward. In this context, straightforward refers to both the design and the content of the blog. Real estate blogs that are “overly designed” tend to look more like websites than blogs. I truly believe this reduces their candidness and authenticity. The same goes for the blog’s content. Blog postings that are straightforward and candid will generate more interaction and “buzz” among readers.
Thoughtful
The best real estate blogs are thoughtful. I don’t mean thoughtful in the sense of “kind” — although kindness does go a long way on the Web — but thoughtful as in “full of thought.” Each time you publish a blog post, put some thought into the content. Make sure it (A) supports your overall blogging goals, (B) gives your readers useful information, and (C) reflects well upon you as a real estate professional.
Usable
When you first set up your blog, it will be straightforward and easy to use. The default settings of most blogging programs are designed this way for a reason. But some people feel the need to clutter up their blogs with all kind of nonsense, reducing the blog’s usability and readership in one swoop. Avoid this. Keep you blog clean and easy to read. Web readers and researches are skilled at hopping from site to site. They don’t need much of a reason to bail out on you, and they’ll do just that if your blog is hard to navigate.
Voluntary
You should blog because you want to, not because you think you have to. If you start a real estate blog just because everyone else is doing it, it will lack the heartfelt enthusiasm that’s a trademark of popular blogs. (See “E’ for enthusiastic above.)
Wise
Your real estate blog is the ideal place to share your wisdom about the industry. This will help you position yourself as an authority in your field (letter ‘A’ above) and foster the trust mentioned under the letter ‘T’ above. A “tip of the day” series is a prime example of this. It’s a great way to share your real estate wisdom, and it’s the kind of thing that will keep people coming back to your blog and recommending it to others.
Xstensible
Yes, I cheated with this letter. But real estate blogs are truly extensible (and you try to produce an adjective starting with ‘X’). Your blog can grow as your audience grows, or as your company grows. You can add additional authors, perhaps a colleague in the mortgage industry. You can add sections to cover additional topics. You can expand a blog however you need to support your objectives. And it doesn’t require an I.T. department to get it done. Blogging programs are designed to be extensible.
Yours
A real estate blog can have one author or several authors. I’ve seen popular blogs published by individual agents, as well as some published by teams of writers. But the blog has to belong to somebody. It should be yours, or his and hers, or all of yours. Somebody needs to own the blog. Otherwise, nobody will trust what it has to say.
Zippy
The dictionary defines zippy as “lively and full of energy.” These are great traits for a real estate blog. If you are passionate in the way you publish your blog, it will eventually connect with readers who are equally passionate about the subject matter. These are the kind of people who will promote your blog without being asked to do so! It goes something like this: “Hey, Barbara, you have to check out this real estate blog I’ve been reading lately. Let me send you the link…”

Using drugs and alcohol are not the answers to your problems. They might make you feel better for a while but sooner or later you will have to face your fears and anxieties. In the meantime, here are some reasons why drugs and alcohol are not the answers to your problems.

Itchy, watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing are all common symptoms which a vast majority of us experience as allergy symptoms at specific times throughout the year. Many individuals do everything in their power to avoid allergies including changing their diets, staying indoors or taking vitamin supplements. These may contribute to fighting allergies, but there is another effective way to do so. Immunotherapy or allergy shot. are gaining popularity. Getting an allergy shot can be scary for some people, so we thought it would be best to fully explain allergy shots and address some common concerns.
How Do They Work?
Allergy shots contain a small amount of the substance which you are allergic to. If you are allergic to pollen, a small amount of pollen would be added to the shot. The amount is small enough so that it does not cause you to suffering from allergy symptoms, but enough so that you body gets used to fighting the allergen. Therefore, the next time your body comes in contact with that substance, it will be familiar with fighting it off and you will most likely not suffer from allergies.
Are Allergy Shots Safe For Everyone?
Although most people will have positive results from allergy shots, they are not right for everyone. Allergy shots are not recommended for individuals suffering from severe heart problems, asthma or other respiratory problems. Also, children under the age of 5 should not be exposed to allergy shots for safety reasons.
What Is The Procedure?
Once you have decided that you would like to get allergy shots, you will receive a shot 1 or 2 times a week for about 6 months. Afterwards, your maintenance shots will require you to get one shot a month, year round for about 3-5 years. Once you have received allergy shots on a regular basis for a couple years, you can discuss it with your doctor and they may tell you its okay to stop getting them at that point.
What Are The Side Effects?
Although allergy shots are effective for many individuals in eliminating allergy symptoms, certain individuals may experience some harmful side effects. Some people may experience feelings of shock when the shot is initially injected, others may feel light-headed or nauseated. For this reason, doctors are required to keep patients in their office for at least 20 minutes after receiving each shot in order to ensure the patients safety.
Some people swear by allergy shots while others criticize the effects or claim they dont work effectively. If you are considering receiving immunotherapy, contact your doctor to discuss. Your doctor will give you more insight in order for you to determine if this is something you really want to do.

This article will be in two parts because Social Bookmarking affects two totally separate and distinct groups of people. They are of course internet users or surfers on one hand and then on the other there are webmasters and blog owners. In Part One, we will focus on the users and surfers.
For all intents and purposes, Social Bookmarking sites are not that much different to Search Engines, but they offer users so much more than the traditional Search Engine site.
To demonstrate the differences, lets talk about Google for example as a search engine and how it works compared to Social Bookmarking site such as Furl or Delicious. I dont have any intention of getting into all of the technicalities here, but more of an overview to demonstrate the benefits of Social Bookmarking to users.
With Google, a web site owner purchases a domain, writes a site (lets say its about dog training for the purpose of this example), buys some hosting and puts the site live online. They may or may not choose to submit the site name to Google, but one way or another Google will eventually find the site sitting on the web. Google will then analyse the coding of the site, the keywords used (dog training) and their density in the text and headings, the titles and descriptions for the site and through the awesome power of their secret algorithm place the page somewhere in their index. And guess what? This is all done by a computer that has no regard for the aesthetics of the site, the richness of design or the quality of the graphics used. Quite simply, to some extent it could well be another machine generated site out to make a quick buck with Adsense ads.
Social Bookmarking sites on the other hand provide a refreshing change for user oriented search. If you havent seen a Social Bookmarking site, go to one of the most popular sites Delicious. (You cant put links in articles, so search it on Google.) To detail all of the available features at these sites is well beyond the scope of this article. It would require a small ebook. The most important thing to note however is that if you search sites by popularity, this means that they are ranked by the number of users that have them bookmarked and not by some machine. This is people power in action. Real human beings have viewed these sites and considered them good enough to add to their own personal bookmarks.
Another very popular site is Furl and for blogs, well you just cant beat Technorati.
You can perform searches on these sites in the same way you would perform a search on Google, but you can have sites ranked by most recent, popularity and tags.
The tags are the most interesting feature of these sites. When you go to the tag area, the site will show a tag cloud. Your screen will show a range of tags which are in different colors, size and intensity. The larger the tag and the brighter the intensity the more popular the tag is.
In order to use a Social Bookmarking site, you need to register, which is free and set up your own account. Then when you bookmark a site in your own account, you allocate it tags, similar to how you set up categories in your browser. But tags provide a much better system because unlike a browser, you can use more than one tag. For example, if you have a category on your browser for clothing and you come across a site, you might well bookmark it and place it in that category. If youre anything like me and have heaps of categories, it can be easy to forget where that site was bookmarked. But with social bookmarking you can tag the site with clothing, fashion and footwear for example and when you select any of these tags in your own bookmarking area the site will be listed.
One of the other great features about these sites is that your bookmarks are with you wherever you go and not just on your own computer. You just have to log on to your account and there they are.
To sum up then, social bookmarking is the future of search. It is powered by humans, assessed by humans and voted on by humans. These sites provide a great means of sharing quality content sites so start bookmarking today.
Cars are not all the same; there are important differences that one must take into consideration when purchasing a new vehicle in order to make sure that one chooses the right car. People often choose sport cars due to the recent publicity that these vehicles have obtained as a result of famous racing events, but they are not always practical.
The major difference between a sport car and a normal one is the fact that the former has a stronger engine than the day to day vehicle. Most of the times, the sport engine has a bigger horse power which enables the driver to reach 60 miles per hour in no more than two or three seconds. On top of that, these cars are far faster than the others, so you need to make sure that you have the necessary skills to handle such a strong ‘beast’.
The suspensions are also different as compared to the ones on the normal cars. Since they may arrive at the incredible speed of 300 km per hour, sport suspensions have to be able to support this aggressive driving style, to keep the car steady and give it a dynamic shape. The lower the ground clearance, the faster the sport car becomes; therefore, sport suspensions are usually smaller than normal ones.
Furthermore, sport gearboxes have lower ratio performances in order to enable the driver to rapidly shift gears while driving at very high speeds. Since sport transmissions get easily used, it is advisable that you purchase a sport car with resistant grades of metal.
Normal wheels are different than sport ones because the latter are generally not designed to give comfort, but to make the car as light and fast as possible. For that matter, the side wall of the sport tire is usually lower in order to give the car better stability on the road, especially when you are driving at very high speed.
Sport cars are less comfortable than normal ones and more difficult to handle in town given their low ground clearance. For that matter, you need to test a sport car before buying it in order to make sure that it is good enough for you. Vehicle leasing companies may help you make up your mind as you can hire sport and normal cars from them and drive them for as long as you want until you realize which one you like.
If you or your business require contract hire, car or van leasing and hire throughout the UK, then vehicle leasing is the right choice for you.

When food tastes quite bland, a sprinkling of table salt usually does the trick. Instantly, it perks up the flavor of the dish. But salt is not just for seasoning. It is also essential to maintaining good health. The human body needs a good balance of salt and water for metabolism. This careful balance between salt and water regulates the electrolytes inside and outside of the body’s cells. Salt is a chemical compound that combines sodium and chloride. It also maintains the correct volume of circulating blood and tissue fluids of the body. Our source of salt comes from food and water, while our body loses salt through urine, perspiration, vomiting and diarrhea. Loss of body salt may cause the level of fluid in the blood to drop. Losing too much salt in the body can lead to muscle cramps, nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Eventually lack of salt can lead to shock, coma, and death.

Conducting an air purifier comparison can be a daunting task there are so many different manufacturers products available on the market, using a wide variety of differing technologies. How is the ordinary person to know which one is best for them? Choosing the right air purifier for you comes largely down to the particular needs of your household, but whether you have asthma or chemical sensitivity, here is a quick air purifier comparison to help illustrate the purifiers you shouldnt buy.
There are a variety of different technologies utilized in the air purification systems available today, and while some of these receive more publicity than others, an air purifier comparison quickly shows us that some systems simply dont live up to the hype. Most of us have heard, for example, a whole lot about the Sharper Image air purifier, or we may have picked up something about ozone air purifiers. Just remember just because a system generates a lot of attention doesnt necessarily mean its for the right reasons.
Air purifier comparisons consistently turn up negative evidence on a few of the technologies employed in the air purification systems you will see in stores. Ion air purifiers, for example, while popular with many consumers, are seen by experts to be fairly ineffective. This type of unit, like the Sharper Image air purifier, rely largely on hype to get you to spend your money, so be careful before you buy to perform your own air purifier comparison, to ensure that the information offered by the marketers is reliable.
An internet air purifier comparison will quickly show that another technology, ozone, is deemed by many experts to not only be ineffective, but can actually be dangerous to your health. There are many useful studies available online on this topic, so be sure to utilize these when making your personal air purifier comparison.
Your air purifier comparison should always consider the needs of you and your family, but remember, regardless of your particular requirements, an ozone or an ion air purifier are probably not the best or safest choice.
Air purifier comparisons arent easy, but there are some to avoid.
One of the core conflicts for creative artists of all kinds is the tug-of-war between art and commerce. Frankly, an artist needs to make money, and it is preferable to make it from his craft.
A writer who must work a full-time job to support himself will struggle to find the time to work, and often eventually gives it up altogether. On the other hand, being able to write on any project at all can polish valuable skills, and teach one the rules of the publishing industry.
On the other hand, Ive met writers who were clearly working on projects, or toiling away at a career, that was burning out their souls. I remember meeting one such writer. His business card read freelance hack and literary mechanic. Sadly, but not entirely unexpectedly, he was dead of alcoholism within a year.
How to avoid such burnout? Well, in my own career, in addition writing the books I cared about the most, Ive written Batman comic books, a Star Trek novel, and a Star Wars tie-in. In my television career, in addition to writing for Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone, I also wrote four episodes of Baywatch(!)
And never for a moment did I feel that I was selling myself out. Lets get something straight: Shakespeare wrote for money. One can keep a careful eye on the bank account, and still reach the heights of craft. But again, how?
In my own case, the answer is fairly simple. Envision the thought process like this: I draw two circles. In the first, is everything I would like to write (and there are always dozens of projects in the mental hopper!). In the second is everything someone else is willing to pay me for. Where the two circles overlap, I write. In other words, are there projects Id love to write, but cant get paid for? You bet, and I generally dont write them unless they are quite short. And there are projects that producers or publishers might want me to do, but dont touch my heart at all. Having learned through experience that there are limits to my creative flexibility, I turn those down.
But from time to time, an opportunity arises that is in the no-mans-land between the circles. There is money, but the project isnt exactly something you have ever considered writing. What then?
Then, you ask yourself if the project is something that you could be proud of. If you would read it, or respect someone who did. For instance, when my agent called and said that the producers of Baywatch wanted to talk to me, I had the office send over six hours of video on the show. I sat on the living room couch and watched them with my daughter, who was about six at the time. After a few episodes, I asked her what she thought. She liked it. I asked why. She said: Because its about nice people working hard to make the beach safe for us. I thought about it, and then replied, you know? There are worse things than that in this world, by a long shot. And decided to try writing for it.
Every show, every project has its limitations. You must use certain characters, must get them into certain kinds of situations, and must avoid certain topics. That can be restrictive, but you can also decide to take it as a challenge. After all, you could give Fred Astaire a stage of any kind, and props of any kind, and he would find a way to create dance. Should you be committed to a lesser level of skill and vision? No.
You must find ways to amuse yourself while writing, to stretch your skills by trying something youve never done before, by empathizing with a younger audience if necessarynever ever writing down to your audience. That is the death of art. But if you can be truly flexible, youll find that more doors are open to you, more opportunities arise, that brass ring comes around more often. A writer ready to leap at any opportunity to show his skill, and who finds it easy to fall in love with about a project will often out-perform a brittle genius who must have everything exactly his way in order to write.
And if that approach is good enough for the Bard, its good enough for me.
A tractor is a farming vehicle traditionally used to mechanise agricultural tasks such as tillage. However, the tractor has come a long way since its humble beginning as a steam engine on wheels during the early 19th century. Today, tractors are used for ploughing, tilling and planting fields. Modern tractors can be used for a variety of tasks including routine lawn care, landscape maintenance, moving or spreading fertiliser and clearing bushes.
Whether you own a small farm or would simply like to work on your lawn and garden, you will find that using a tractor will make these chores easier for you. In this article, we discuss the top advantages of using tractors to mechanise your farming, gardening or even excavating tasks.
Wide Range
There is a wide range of tractors available today, each suitable for a specific task. If you need to work on a large garden or an extensive area of field or pasture, a subcompact or compact tractor will fit heavy duty landscaping jobs and tasks like digging, hauling or ploughing. A subcompact tractor is a smaller version of a compact tractor. It has the power and versatility to perform a large range of gardening tasks including mowing, moving mulch and tilling gardens. A compact tractor is a smaller version of the utility tractor and is ideal for landscaping tasks. Subcompact and compact tractors have a horsepower that ranges from 15hp to 40hp.
If you have a small farm and need to mechanise more complex farming tasks, then you will need a utility tractor. Utility tractors come in different models and offer a horsepower that ranges from 45hp to 110hp. Utility tractors are also known as diesel tractors because diesel is typically used to fuel these large tractors. There is also a wide range of farming implements that can be attached to utility tractors to help you accomplish a variety of tough jobs on the farm.
Versatility
Tractors are now designed and manufactured to be versatile so that a single tractor can perform a wide range of tasks. For instance, a compact tractor can accomplish tasks that range from gardening to simple farming jobs. You can also attach implements to a compact tractor such as front loaders or back hoes to perform an even wider range of jobs.
Power and durability
Tractors are also typically designed to run over rough terrain and pull extremely heavy loads. The engine generates a large amount of force to get the tractor to run and perform its tasks, making it effective in tough farming or landscape tasks. Modern tractors also come with cast iron front axles for extra strength and durability, so you can rely on your tractor to perform under tough conditions.
Ease of transmission and operation
You might find a manual transmission on a tractor difficult to use, but features of modern tractors such as powershift transmission and hydrostatic transmission make operation much easier. Powershift transmission facilitates smooth shifting through 8 gears in low range and 8 gears in high range while hydrostatic transmission allows for effortless changes in direction. Modern tractors also provide power steering to make turning much easier. Some more advanced models are also able to reduce operator fatigue with exclusive shift controls and an automatically responsive transmission.
Ease of installing gardening and farming implements
A variety of gardening and farming implements including a front end loader attachment or a back hoe can be installed on to a tractor, so that it can perform a wider range of tasks. A tractor may have three-point hitches and a power take-off or PTO. A three-point hitch attaches an implement, secures it in place and also lifts and lowers the implement. The PTO is a shaft that goes from the tractor to the implement and transfers the tractor’s engine power to it. Gardening and farming implements are considered heavy equipment so make sure you have the appropriate knowledge and training before you install and use it.

To get into a car along side a complete novice who has no knowledge whatsoever of handling a vehicle, let alone handle other drivers on our busy roads takes some guts. (Instructor)
Knowing how to drive is simple?? Knowing the high way code is even more simple, what isn’t so simple is not knowing what the other driver is going to do.
The roads would be much safer if we were mind readers but unfortunately no glass ball to check out what lies ahead. The more lessons the more in take of rules and regulations.
Instructors who EARN to drive
Over a period of time the driving instructor that was once a stranger is now your friendly passenger who wants you to excel in your need to get a pass…
Helping you to build up confidence in your self will be one of his main priorities.
Your friendly passenger has now become your companion, who throughout all your lessons has got to know you personally and corrected any bad habits you may have picked up while learning to drive
The magic moment has arrived to put in for your test. How do you know when the time is right? Simple, when the stalling or buck jumping of the car is all in the past, no more silly questions like where the clutch is. No more accidental kerb mounting.
If any one should know you are ready to take that god fearing test, it has to be the stranger your friend your companion. (You’re Instructor)
He was the one who had the guts to get in beside you ignoring the dangers that lay ahead. He was with you throughout the teething stages, pampering you like a mother would with her child.
The driving instructor makes the final decision that you are ready to take to the highways. Education goes no further because your instructor has taught you all there is to know. If this stranger your friend your companion your instructor had any doubts he would not allow you to put yourself and that of other motorists in danger.
The Test
Why so many fail. The answer is nerves
They send in an official type looking geezer with a clipboard. Another stranger, only this one is never to become you’re your friend your companion. He is out to pass judgment before the key is turned in the ignition
You may guarantee if some one is waiting for you to make a mistake then the inevitable happens.
This geezer’s decision also undermines the driving instructor’s better judgment. Driving instructors do the dirty work but when it comes to dishing out the filth, leave that to the examiners
(Earn to drive) Become a driving Instructor in your spare time. It does have its benefits and rewards.

Saddam Hussein, in his latest bid to escape execution for crimes against his own people, has applied to McDonalds for a franchise. The application is widely regarded as a move by his defense team to convince the court that, if his life is spared, he will be a model citizen in the Iraq of the future.
In his application, Hussein states that he has a great deal of fast-food experience from his months on the run. He also states that, if granted the franchise, he will cease and desist from pathological social behavior that brings into question his qualifications to be a reputable franchisee. He has applied for a location in Bagdad that affords a view of one of his former palaces, so he might find peace in reminiscence as conducts his burger business.
Upon approval by McDonalds, the agreement will be submitted to the court. At that time, the defense is expected to claim that he should be acquitted on the grounds that there is no precedent whatsoever for hanging a McDonalds franchisee.
Depending on the outcome of Husseins plea, his codefendants may or may not apply to McDonalds. There is some disagreement among them, as to whether or not their should try to corner the McDonalds market or have the courage to compete with their former boss by opening rival chains, such as Burger King and Wendys. One defendant is reportedly considering an Applebys franchise, apparently because of a misunderstanding. He wishes one day to be accepted as American as apple pie and is unaware that the chain is, in reality, just another burger joint.
Ramsey Clark states, The move by Hussein to become a McDonalds franchisee clearly indicates that he intends to reform himself and should be given opportunity.
While many Sunnis seem eager to patronize the former dictators restaurant, Shiites and Kurds are threatening to boycott it.
The American military has voiced concern about possible reprisals, particularly the threat of suicide bombers disguised as drive-through patrons.
Few have not heard of Ji-Sung Park, the Korean superstar dubbed the Shaggy Haired-One of UK Premiership team Manchester United. Park rose to international stardom in 2002, scoring goals against England and France during international friendlies in May, preceding the World Cup of 2002. During the World Cup, he scored the winning goal in South Korea’s match against Portugal . His first professional contract was at J-League’s Kyoto Purple Sanga in 2000, and he was the first Korean footballer ever to go straight to the J-League without going through the K-League. He was arguably the most influential player of the team by 2002 and following his stellar performance World Cup that year, it was evident that the J-League was too small a stage for Park.
His international career began as a defensive midfielder at age 18. When Guus Hiddink became the head coach of South Korea, Parks position was changed to winger. Since then, Park is considered to be versatile player who can play in a range of positions, from wing-back to central midfield. After the World Cup, Park was recruited to PSV Eindhoven, to play under his mentor and former national team coach Hiddink. Unlike his compatriot Young-Pyo Lee, who rapidly became a fixture in PSV Eindhoven’s starting lineup, Park struggled and a few poor performances which unfortunately saw him being boo-ed by some of the PSV fans.
By the end of 2003-2004 season, Park had adapted to The Netherlands, he quickly proved his worth to the team forming the backbone of PSV Eindhoven’s midfield play with fellow Korean Young-Pyo Lee and Dutchmen Mark van Bommel and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. Parks energetic movement created havoc against all opponents at all areas of the field, both offensively and defensively. His PSV career highlight came he scored the first goal against AC Milan at the Champions League semi-finals.
Park was scouted by Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United by the end of the 2005 season who believed that Park’s energetic style of play and outstanding fitness could be the foundation his flagging Manchester United side needed. Also, with the aging of Ryan Giggs and the relatively inexperienced Cristiano Ronaldo on the right wing, Park was sought after, in order to keep the Manchester United midfield fresh but also provide experience to a mostly young team. In July 2005, Ji-Sung Park signed a four-year contract with Manchester United for four million pounds.
As anticipated, Park impressed fans during Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the Far East, as well as in the first game of the season against Everton with his tireless, energetic roaming of the pitch and pressuring of opponents, such that Ferguson picked him over Ryan Giggs and the popular Cristiano Ronaldo against Aston Villa on 20th August the following week. His lack of composure in front of goal is considered his main weakness as he has, on many occassions, come close to scoring but he has opted to pass the ball to his other team-mates. Park has been renowned for his good attitude and strong work ethic which have helped him excel for both club and country. His fitness is known to rival that of a marathon runner, and his former teammates at PSV Eindhoven have jokingly suggested that Park plays with an oxygen tank strapped to his back.
Ji-Sung Parks unofficial website is soon hosting a charity contest where fans can win a genuine Man United shirt, hand-signed by Park, worth hundreds of pounds. Every person who enters- needs to donate 2 pounds & predict how many goals in total Park will have scored for Man United in all competitions by the end of the season. All money raised is being given to a local South Korean charity- a football academy for deprived youngsters, in conjunction with the famous South Korean team: Suwon Bluewings, the famous football club, from where Park is from and was born. Governor Jennifer M. Granholm has a vision for the state of Michigan and the Michigan schools. In 2005, the Cherry Commission on Higher Education recommended that the state must double its number of college graduates in order to compete economically. Granholm took this recommendation and developed her small high school initiative for the Michigan schools.
She believes that smaller high schools allow students to develop relationships and interact more with their teachers, subsequently creating an atmosphere for more rigorous coursework and graduating students who are bound for college.
It has been proven across the nation that smaller high schools with smaller classes make a big difference in the lives of students. The Governor, along with the Skillman Foundation, are encouraging the Michigan schools to create, expand and develop smaller high schools. The Foundation is encouraging and organizing foundation support for the initiative.
Specific Michigan schools are being targeted first for smaller school and classroom development. Any high school that has fallen short of the federal student achievement goals under the No Child Left Behind Act and/or are located in districts with high dropout rates are first on the Governors list for redevelopment.
After the Cherry Commissions recommendations, the Governor called on state lawmakers to pass legislation to make it easier for Michigan schools to renovate and build new schools. Under the Governors Jobs Today program, which funds needed public improvement projects, Michigan schools districts may borrow up to $180 million over a three-year period to renovate or construct new buildings, as long as the finished schools house no more than 400-500 students each.
Other incentives under the Governors program include:
A proposed New Merit Scholarship for Michigan schools students, who go to college and successfully complete at least two years these Michigan schools students will receive a minimum of $4,000 in scholarship support from state and federal sources.
The Governor has called for a statewide mandatory curriculum for the Michigan schools rigorous and relevant coursework will be included to ensure students are prepared to continue their education after high school.
Beginning with the class of 2008, Michigan schools students will be required to take the nationally recognized ACT (American College Test) college entrance exam another recommendation of the Cherry Commission to pave the way for students to attend college.
The Michigan schools want to prepare every student for success in college, in the workplace, and in life. The Governor is helping the Michigan schools reach higher standards with her initiative. Both the Governor and the Michigan schools believe that helping all students attain and remain on a successful path that leads to a college degree is the most important goal. They wish to help students view a college degree as an attainable goal and be motivated to go after it.
Buying a car for yourself or as a gift for someone involves a lot more than opening up your checkbook.
You’ll need to do some research before you jump in the driver’s seat. According to Brad Eggleston, vice president of AutoVantage, “To help you select the best gift for yourself or that special someone, there are a few things to consider before turning into the dealer lot.” Here are some tips:
First Things First
• Focus on what’s important. Price, size, engine type, style, fuel economy and safety are among any buyer’s main concerns.
The Internet can be a source of information to help answer those questions. Online resources can offer detailed vehicle descriptions, reviews, road tests and cost comparisons.
For example, the AutoVantage Web site offers a number of research tools for buyers of both new and used cars, including a calculator that can help a buyer determine a vehicle’s value.
• If you still can’t decide, calculate the cost of ownership over a five-year period by adding finance charges, fuel, insurance, maintenance and other such costs. The best deal should stand out.
Test Drive
• First, address the interior. Does it offer the space, comfort and features you’re looking for?
• Concentrate on how the vehicle handles, steers, accelerates and stops. Drive a route with different road surfaces and conditions you expect to encounter. No need to rush.
Final Negotiations
• Finance beforehand, if possible, and allow room in your budget for additional fees like tax and title costs. Then figure out your bottom line price and stick to it.
• Keep in mind that the sticker price is a suggested amount. This figure is “usually the highest possible market price,” according to the Kelley Blue Book. The invoice price is what the dealer paid for the car. Use this figure as your guide, and be sure to request price quotes from multiple dealerships.
• Leasing your vehicle may mean lower monthly payments and a new car every few years, but mileage limits and wear and tear sometimes leave drivers with additional costs. Buying a car will mean higher payments, but also complete ownership of your car.
It used to be so easy. All you needed was a thick mane of tousled auburn locks, high cheekbones and a determined little chin; add an ounce of determination and an event from your past that haunts you still. Then, wham! You were the perfect fictional heroine.
But now its not so simple. With television shows like Greys Anatomy and Ally McBeal, books like Bridget Joness Diary and Good in Bed, and movies like Miss Congeniality and Legally Blonde, were getting all sorts of mixed messages over how the ideal woman is supposed to be. Whats a modern girl who wants to hold herself up to impossible standards to do?
Simple! Just follow these guidelines, and youll be as witty, complex and neurotic as the rest of them. In other words you will be the perfect, modern-day fictional heroine.
Step 1 Be Flawed
This step is super easy, because come on, were all already flawed anyway, right?
Right!
Except for one little catch. It is necessary to adopt the correct flaws, and these three are non-negotiable.
1.)You must be self-involved. This includes comparing your own petty personal problems to things like death, war, and injustice, and finding some sort of unique parallel no matter what the situation may be. It also includes having a constant inner dialogue with yourself where you point out these parallels with witty commentary. For example: Even the news reminded me of him. Yesterday I saw this report that said routine circumcision in Africa could prevent 300,000 deaths in the next ten years. What a shocker! Chopping away at a guys penis could help eliminate pain, loss, and heart-ache. What will they think of next?
2.)You must have issues with food. If you plan to be a television or movie heroine, this means that you cannot eat. Period. If you plan to be a book heroine, this means that you must eat all the time, except when youre not eating, and then you should be thinking about eating. I strongly recommend the second option.
3.)You must become preoccupied with an unhealthy relationship. This includes but is not limited to, relationships with boyfriends, friends, mothers, fathers, roommates, and exes. Especially exes.(And make sure that your ex is dreamy, preferably with a new girlfriend who is in no way as good for him as you were.)
Step 2 Practice Retail Therapy
Todays modern day fictional heroine realizes one fundamental truth that there is no problem too big or too small that cannot be remedied with shopping. Again, there is a catch; you need to be careful of what you go shopping for. Hard and fast rule anything thats practical or cheap is out. Other than that, I have provided you a list of approved shopping items, with the most highly recommended items on top, and continued in descending order:
Designer shoes
Designer beauty products
Designer chocolate
Designer purses
Designer lingerie
Anything else designer
Clothes (This is listed as the very last option because although clothes shopping can be a lot of fun, if you happen to have gone up a size, the blow to your ego will be so enormous that it will negate the therapeutic aspect of said retail therapy.)
Step 3 Have a purpose, deeply question it, then either accept it or abandon it to find a new purpose.
Rather than go into unnecessary detail, I have created a handy-dandy chart. Just pick an option from each column and youll be good to go.
Column A
1.Youre a (lawyer, publisher, or banker) and you love the power and money.
2.Youre a (doctor, policewoman, or writer) and you love changing lives.
3.Youre a stay-at-home mom and you love your family.
4.Youre all of the above, and youve never been so fulfilled!
Column B
1.Its all getting to be too much and nobody understands you.
2.None of it means anything anymore and nobody understands you.
3.You wish you could have some time for yourself, and why doesnt anyone understand you?
4.Is this really what you set out to do? You did major in art history after all.
Column C
1. After meeting the right guy, you decide to chuck it all and live overseas.
2. After falling back in love with the guy youve been with for years, you decide to start your own home-based greeting card company.
3. After realizing that the nerdy guy is actually the one for you, you return to your career with a new sense of purpose.
4. Who needs health insurance anyway? You decide to take some time off just to focus on you.
Conclusion:
So you see; its really not that hard for truth to imitate fiction. Gone are the days of walking moors, wearing corsets, and dying of consumption. Nowadays all you need is a little attitude thrown in with a barely noticeable social complex. So get your credit cards ready, preheat the oven for those brownies, and start living your life as if everyone can (and wants to) hear what you have to say. A new age has arrived!
Sometime or another we will experience a time when we are alone. Some people.fear of being alone for various reasons. The first step is to become comfortable with yourself and having the self-confidence that you will be able to manage being alone. There is nothing wrong with being alone. If being alone bothers you then seeing a counselor can help you with these issues.
In the meantime, here is a short list of techniques that a person can use so that the fear of being alone doesnt become a major issue in their lives.
The first step is to find an activity that you enjoy and where you can meet a lot of people. For instance, joining a group activity such as a volleyball group, womens club, or making crafts can be a great way to meet people. Doing something that you like to do will make you happy and will increase your chances of making friends.
Spending time with animals can be a great source of companionship. Whether you have a dog or you go to your local shelter, spending time with an animal or pet can help us to feel better. Animals can be of good company to all of us whether we are alone or not.
Helping others through community service can be of some help. There are many people out there who could benefit from your time and talents. Helping others can give you a source of pride and
accomplishment and also can lead to friendships.
It isnt fun being alone, but sometimes there are worse things. For instance, imagine that you are married or stuck in a relationship that you cant get out of and also makes you miserable. Not only do you have to live with this person, but there is no way to get out of the relationship because of various financial or personal reasons. As a result, you are stuck living with someone that you cant stand and makes you depressed every single day of your life. With this viewpoint, being alone doesnt sound that bad.
For those of you who believe in God, spending time with God and praying to him can help us in our lonely situation. Spending time with God and asking God for help in our time of loneliness can be of great comfort. You never know how God will work in ones life. Ask him for help and trust that he will help you.
As a Layman, the important thing is to do something constructive. Sitting around and doing nothing will not make things any better whether its dealing with the fear of being alone or something else. Take it one day at a time and stay committed in trying to solve your problem.
